For my second Style Stalker, I am featuring my good friend from high school, Shaye! She is one of the few people I have kept in touch with since my high school days, and am so thankful I did! Whenever we’re home together, you can always count on finding us at Santana Row, the closest thing San Jose has to Fashion Island in Newport. From grabbing boba and shopping at Urban Outfitters, we have always been able to help each other out when it comes to fashion and style. If you read some old posts, you’ll see that I’ve done two fashion shoots with her in the past! I love Shaye’s true Californian style and also the edgy touch she always puts on each outfit. For this post, I had actually asked her to send me photos to feature, which she then had one of her friends take these awesome fisheye photos for me to use!
I love how she plays with the camouflage print since that is a huge trend that has been seen worn by style icons and even featured on street style blogs! Black is one of my favorite colors to wear, I love how it works with my skin tone as well as my hair color. Sure, it’s a dark color, well the darkest of dark, but it exudes a sense of class but also edge. As you can see, the color is complimented well by the camo button down, making it more than just a simple look.
I am actually looking for a good camo jacket myself, but I still haven’t found the right one. I love how army green is becoming big since it works with almost anything. You can go for a darker look with blacks and gray, but you can also switch it up by wearing it with colors like beige, slate blue, cardinal red, or blush for women. I love Shaye’s versatility, making it easy for her to achieve many different looks while keeping her own creative eye.
Shaye is wearing… Boots: Lucky Brand, Leggings: Zara, Top: X Generation on Haight Street, Camo Button Down: Zara, Beanie: Street Vendor in San Francisco, Necklace: Forever 21
What do you think of Shaye’s look??
